     Loreda is the youngest child born May 15, 1938 to Grover and Rosa Crow.  Loreda attended the Bernie public Schools throughout her school years.

     After graduation she was employed for the Anderson Air Activities, a civilian Air Force contractor, training commissioned officers to fly in T-6 single engine aircraft.  She met her husband (Melvin Low) while they both were attending the Bernie schools.  They were married on November 21, 1956 at the General Baptist Church with the Reverend Leo Mace performing the ceremony.  Their mothers were witnesses to this marriage.

     Throughout most of Loreda's life, she was a homemaker raising two fine sons.  Melvin has been employed as a farmer his entire life and farms north of Bernie taking over all the farming activities upon the retirement of his father.
